SPACE HN

I design and develop geographic information systems that governments, international aid organizations, and the private sector use to make decisions regarding land use, in four areas:
Urban and Regional Planning — Web GIS platforms for municipal planning and management.
Risk and Disaster Management — systems for monitoring and analyzing environmental vulnerability.
Multipurpose Cadastre — spatial data infrastructures for digital cadastre.
Climate Change — climate information platforms for data-driven decision-making.
I have developed these systems for GIZ, UNDP, IDB, the World Bank, and IICA, in projects ranging from livestock traceability to rural water systems and digital land registries. These are systems that are used on a daily basis—not pilot projects that end with a report.
Stack: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MapLibre, Google Earth Engine, APIs, and mobile apps for field data collection, even without a signal.
Systems Engineer with a master's degree in Climate Change. 14 years in the technology sector, the last 10 of which have been dedicated to geotechnologies in Central America.

Server Hardening Service: Configuration and hardening of Windows Server and Linux environments to ensure they are protected against common attacks.
Compliance Consulting (NIST/ISO 27001): Helping companies map their current controls against international security standards—a step many companies need to take in order to obtain certification or work with international organizations.

He has led institutional campaigns, motion graphics, and audiovisual content for organizations such as INJUPEMP and Grupo AXBE, demonstrating proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
At Espacial HN, Nelson strengthens the team's visual identity and supports brand positioning, from graphic design to digital communication.

Trained in the pure fundamentals of computer science prior to the widespread adoption of AI tools, Jonathan possesses an agnostic approach to problem-solving: he does not rely on any specific language or framework, but rather on solid algorithmic logic that allows him to master and implement any technology stack—from complex mobile integrations to critical billing and transactional systems—with impeccable precision.
At Espacial HN, he leads the technical architecture and the development lifecycle for mission-critical solutions in the private sector, government, and international cooperation.

Her role allows the technical team to focus on development, while she handles day-to-day logistics: from correspondence and manuals to tracking each ongoing project.
